Nice shot Loupey!
I do not really miss Kodachrome by any means. I can fairly reliably re-create it with filters or certain camera techniques if desired. It was an era certainly that is now all but gone. I am pleased that some people are taking one last 'shot' at it and are sharing their work from 'before'!
While scanning a few samples anew for this post I kept reminding myself of 'little' things that made it work better. Thus a couple of my scans are just that, raw untouched (except posting preparation) scans dirt and all! The dirt or preventing it, the 'fixing' certain items in a scan and the time consumption alone I don't miss.
I hope we get a few more images from the last of the K-chrome users before the stock and chemicals are all finally exhausted.

A quick scan from a roll I just got back from the lab today. Taken the first week of October in Grand Teton National Park. More to come when I get some time.

A couple more from the Tetons.
Re: Show your Kodachrome!!
Mike,
I missed this woodland scene the last time I looked and I really like this one.
The leaves in your latest post and the lake shore are also great examples of this modern version of the old classic!
Post as many as you want as one of these days, this stuff won't be around anymore!

Taken in Jamaica in January, 2007.
This Thread Is Getting Good!
This thread is getting good. I hope people continue to share their Kodachrome photos here and it grows into a serious archive. Maybe I'll even add something of my own when I can get to my slide archive in California!
By the way, I posted a link for this thread on the PhotographyREVIEW.com Facebook page. DRG's slides with the mounts made a great thumbnail link :)
Re: Show your Kodachrome!!
Finished up my last roll of Kodachrome tonight. Going in the mail to Dwayne's Photo tomorrow if I can make it to the post office before the close!

Re: Show your Kodachrome!!
I received my last two rolls of KM in the mail today. It was kind of like Christmas. The one roll was about a year old and I had no idea what was on it. I thought it was going to be photos from Grand Teton NP from last fall. I was wrong. It was used up at the Hyde Mill last winter. The same place I took my final roll to a week and a half ago to use up. Here is a scan from the mystery roll. KM is known for its great colors, but this shot looks B&W on the light table.
Re: Show your Kodachrome!!
A few more from the Archives including a 'special' that I am posting separately for Veteran's Day in the Viewfinder forum too.
The three 'darker and bluer' photographs is what happened with Kodachrome that was underexposed. Not enough differentiation in gradients for it to 'take' the color fully in all areas of the emulsion during processing. This is all pre-Kodachrome II film. I've taken better Picasso Photos in terms of exposure and even focus in one of these two cases, but none have quite the same feel that I've run across on film so far nor on older Kodachrome.
The ship photograph and the Sardi's restaurant in New York photo which was taken from a cab window are from an archive I own/administer which includes my Grandfather's work.

Re: Show your Kodachrome!!
So I managed to get four more rolls of Kodachrome (2x of 64, 1x of 25, and 1x of 40) and am shooting it fast and furious over this week.

40? What format?
