Re: Show your Kodachrome!!
Here's a few recent photos I've taken with Kodachrome 64. I have one more roll in my camera that I need to get shot ... maybe tomorrow evening downtown with some Xmas lights.
No way to warn that there's nudity here, so I hope it's OK (it's nothing too outrageous ...)

Re: Show your Kodachrome!!
Nude/cheesecake on modern(type II) Kodachrome, wow! That's somewhat rare I'd say. Good to have in this final collection.
By the way, ISO 40 Kodachrome is an older (and I didn't know there was much if any stock of it around) movie film designated stock. One of the Seattle companies or California stock houses may have repackaged older stock into 135 cartridges at some point. Or it may have been a special order for a foreign film maker who wanted one last vintage appearing film and couldn't afford the digital version. ISO 50 has been the lowest standard speed stock cinema film for several years. Of course special orders have been possible!
Realistically if you haven't shot your Kodachrome film up by now and it has been or is being processed, it most likely won't happen.
Still keep those images coming be they new or old. There's several more photos from the "olden' days" I am going to post after the first of the year when this is all just a memory.
Re: Show your Kodachrome!!
Hey DRG, Dwayne's says that as long as it's there by 31 Dec, they'll process it. I have 2.5 rolls left but want to keep at least one for nostalgic reasons. I need to shoot up the roll in camera quick!

Re: Show your Kodachrome!!
First three rolls on their way back to me! The other should be sent back soon as well.
Re: Show your Kodachrome!!
The last week is here for this emulsion to be processed. If you are among the final users and haven't posted here, please feel free and I'm encouraging you to share at least one more image from this classic that drove among other legendary works, The National Geographic.
We'll do some sort of a final salute after the first of the year too!

Did you see the limited addition shirts Dwayne's is selling to commemorate Kodachrome?

Btw, I imagine that Dwayne's was swamped with KR in the final days.. Maybe they're still processing some of what they received.
Re: Show your Kodachrome!!
Here's an older Kodachrome 200 image from back in my skydiving days.
I remember how excited people were when the 200 ISO version came out. But I especially miss the 25.

That's a fantastic shot, GB! Was it ever published? Seems like I've seen it before somewhere.

Thanks , it was my best skydiving shot. No it was never published (as far as I know), but I may have posted it here a long time ago for review (?)
Maybe one day I'll get back into that .. with digital.

This was the very last frame I shot, the building is the City of Toronto's First Post Office (4th Post office for the City of York) it was shut down after the Rebellions in1837 when the postmaster was framed for aiding the anti-government rebels. It was restored and reopened in 1983 and serves both as a full service Post Office (I mailed the roll off that day from the post office to Dwayne's) and a museum.
