I have an L-358 and it's a really nice meter, but using the spot metering attachment is a little clumsy. To me, having a spot meter is important and if I had to do it over again I'd probably have gotten an L-508 or L-608.

Any of these three can also trigger pocket wizards if you're ever interested in studio lighting (although a PW system is expensive, and so is studio lighting...).
