I found that after i bought my rebel, I was looking for more in the camera, but I tend to use higher shutter speeds, (right now between 1/3000th and 1/4000th) for when I shoot at the drag strip during the day. Also, if im correct, the 20D has a finer sensor, less noise.

Also i think the 20D has faster AF?

idk, but If you want sub $1000, the 20D is great, if you can afford it, the 30D is even more so improved than the 20D.

I still have my rebel though, I want to sell it and grab up a 30D some time soon. need a new computer first, then the 30D.
