Rebel XT vs. 20D *?* What do you think?
    Hey Everyone,

I'm considering my first 'real' camera (as you may have seen in my previous posts :mad2: ) and I was wondering what the main differences are from the Rebel XT to the 20D and is it worth spending more money on?

    Thanks!

The Rebel will do more than most people are capable of using. IMHO, buy the Rebel and put the money saved into higher quality lenses.

I found that after i bought my rebel, I was looking for more in the camera, but I tend to use higher shutter speeds, (right now between 1/3000th and 1/4000th) for when I shoot at the drag strip during the day. Also, if im correct, the 20D has a finer sensor, less noise.

Also i think the 20D has faster AF?

idk, but If you want sub $1000, the 20D is great, if you can afford it, the 30D is even more so improved than the 20D.

I still have my rebel though, I want to sell it and grab up a 30D some time soon. need a new computer first, then the 30D. :)
