I have a minolta a200, and I am wanting to get some extra lenses for it, what I am wondering is... should i get the genuine minolta lenses that are supposed to go with it ... i noticed that the minolta telephoto is only 1.5x, when alot of the other telephoto lenses are 3.0x..

i've also read i'll need to do a firmware upgrade on my camera in order to use a telephoto lens, is this true for using a non-minolta lens, or just the minolta?
