    sony dsc-p31

This is what I see on my lcd display screen (see attached image). All settings have not changed. This started happening just after I uploaded my last batch of images. Tried reseting with no success. Has anyone seen this problem before?

Are the images like this, or just the screen?

Did you try taking out all batteries and letting it sit for a few minutes?

I did see something similar on, coincidentally, a dead Sony flatpanel we had here at work. Call them and see what they can do for you, unless there is some sort of hidden hardware reset button I can't think of anything else.

Thanks for the info, I figured it was hardware related. I'll give them a call a see what they say. Thanks again

    Re: sony dsc-p31

I just started having a similar problem with my 22 month old DSC-P51. Was working fine now LCD is just black & fuzzy? I called Sony...they want me to send it to Texas and want to charge me $171 to look at it. Fixing it may cost more!!! This camera was never abused or dropped. I HATE SONY. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER SONY PRODUCT AGAIN!
