RCA CDS1400 digital camera

I am wondering I have windowsXp and bought a compact flash for my cameras disk.
{small floopy} Well it shows that it is connected to the computer. New hardware detected.
But, when i go into my computer it is suppose to say removeable disk drive, but it is not showing up. it was registered as new hardware but is not showing up in my computer~~

Any help would be greatly appreciated thank You Anthony

P.S. i realize the camera is a bit old but it takes awesome pictures.

It is possible that XP doesn't have the correct drivers for this old camera. Spend $20-$30 bucks on a card reader. That will solve your problem with this camera as well as any other you may own in the future.
