Need help for buying a Camera For sports and Snapshots

I would like to have a good digital camera. My daughter will be a senior next year and she plays sports ( basketball & Right field Softball). I bought the kodax 4530 It would not take pics in gym. I'm looking at the Nikon Coolpix 8700, Nikon Coolpix 5700, fuji Finepix s7000, or Fuji finepix E550. I have been reading the reviews which seems to make my choice even harder. I need the point and shoot because this is the second camera i own. I have the Sony Fd Mavica that is a 1 mp I think. takes good pic for email but not to print.I would Like to have a good zoom for the sports. Doesn't have to be one of these camera. They just have caught my eye. I don't know if I' m getting in over my head with the Nikons, but would like to print some enlargments.

check out the Panasonic FZ20.. 12x optical image stabilized leica lense.. F2.8 aperture right thru its zoom range.. takes a big external none dedicated flash if u need it..

its hard to pick out one camera out of a bunch and say its the "best".. by throwing one more into the pool it just makes your already difficult choice harder.. but i have done just that.. he he

still.. i like the FZ20 and will stick my neck out and say..I think it probably is the "best" general purpose long zoom camera out there at the moment.. and better still its not even the most expensive..
