Minolta A200... anyone have one?

I've been debating on getting a Minolta DiMage A200... or a Kodak DX7590.... I'm leaning more towards the Minolta for various reasons, But wanted to nkow if anyone here has one, and if so... How do they feel about it?... How good are the Macro shots, Battery Life.. and just shots in general.. I photograph alot of nature (flowers, etc) and Kids.. and would really like to make sure I'm getting the best camera for my needs, before I order it... I've read a million reviews, but.. I want a "real" persons opinion on this..

I have a tester, from Konica Minolta. I just came back from a week long road trip where I had the opportunity to test the camera extensively. I should have a complete review done by the end of the week. And just so you know, so far I like it a lot. The 28-200 lens with Anti Shake is hard to beat. And the shutter-lag is probably the best I've ever experienced with any compact digital camera.

I've always wanted to find out how you become a tester... got any info on that?
I'm Always dabbling with cameras, and anything to do woth computers (major geek here...lol)
