That's a good question. I don't have an answer, but I'd guess it's safe. Hairdryers are pretty cheap devices. I would expect that Kodak makes the docks for the US as well as the European markets and it will work fine with a converter. But to be sure, I'd contact Kodak's customer service and ask.
