    Kodak Easyshare Plug Converter Question

I will be travelling to Amsterdam, England and Ireland this year. I have a Kodak 6490 camera and charge it using the Easyshare dock. Is it safe to take the dock with me and use electric converters in these countries, to plug in the dock?

I ask, because a few years ago, we used a converter with a hairdryer and fried it, so I am a little concerned.

    Thanks.

    Good Question

That's a good question. I don't have an answer, but I'd guess it's safe. Hairdryers are pretty cheap devices. I would expect that Kodak makes the docks for the US as well as the European markets and it will work fine with a converter. But to be sure, I'd contact Kodak's customer service and ask. Check the reviews or the Directory section for links to the Kodak Web site.
