I'm 17 years old, and have been interested in photography for quite some time now. I would say that I have a fair amount of experience when it comes to using cameras, though I'm not too fluent with camera termonology. I'm a major animal/nature lover and live on a 5 acre hobby farm where we raise and breed purebred German Shepherd Dogs, and Papillons, that being said, I'm looking for a camera that can take buissness quality pictures for our dog breeding program.
My previous camera was a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W7. It was given to me used 2 years ago after my Samsung was stolen from me at a sleepover. Over all I really liked this camera, but it wasn't that great for taking aquarium photos, and was a little too bulky for me as I tend to travel quite a bit with my grandparents. Its was amazing for taking firework and campfire photos, and with the right lighting fairly good at taking pictures of aquariums, and terrariums, which I tend to do alot of so that was also good.
What I am looking for in my next camera is:
- Compact - Light weight and easy to travel with.
- Good for taking pictures of firework, campfires, sunset scenes.
- Good for taking Animal and Nature scenes
- Good for photos of aquariums without leaving a glare.
If anyone has any suggestions of cameras that would be good for me, that would be greatly appreciated. recently I've taken a liking to some of the touch screen LCD cameras such as the Nikon Coolpix S1100pj and S80. I also like the DualView feature of the Samsung ST500
I appologize for the long post, and my poor spelling and grammar.
