Exclamation Help on selecting an Ultracompact Digital camera ……

Looking for some camera information on the following camera: Nikon Coolpix S550
    or similar one.

What I would like to know is: How long can you run this camera in the .avi mode?
(Why I ask is that some cameras I have looked at only run in 10 second
increments and no longer. I would like to do 640 X 480 @ 30/15 fps if possible for
    a lot more time.)

I’m not real active in capturing FAST action shots as a normal thing, but some of my pictures are made in to 20” X 30” posters or maybe a little larger. Do you think this camera will fill the requirement?

If somebody thinks another camera would be best suited, please feel free to recommend one. There isn't any time schedule here yet.

Thanks for any input in advance,
    Mike, Sr.

I personally like Canon. I just got the new released Canon PowerShot SD1100IS, works well for me. it's a deal price of $220

I'd say it's a solid, reliable, and stylish point-and-shoot ultracompact digital camera that produces high-quality images.very satisfied with it.

Thanks, I'll add this to the list to look at, I have an older Canon and I do agree it was very reliable. Again, I'm not in a rush to spend my money and I do wish to be pleased with my new purchase when the time comes.
