well - you'll get what you pay for, the sd600 will cost a lot less tehn the 700. they use the same image sensor, and similar lens. the 700 has an extra 35 mm focal length at the telephoto end, plus it has image stabilization. is there much of a differene outside of that though? nope....

seriously, i definitely reccomend that sd550, over both of those!
