    Digital SLR for Wildlife Photography

Hi People, I am the staff photographer for Photovision Studios Digital Wildlife Galleries,
http://www.photovisionstudios.com/ and I am looking at upgrading from a Canon EOS 10D.

I have used most brands of camera and have been very pleased with the 10D altough I am
tempted with the Minolta Dynax 7D as I used to have a Dynax 7 film camera and I thought it
was excellent, particularly suited for wildlife photography.

The 7D's resolution is not really very high though, is Minolta likely to upgrade? or would it
be best to look at Canon again or Nikon and if so which one do people think is most suited
    to wildlife photography.

Cheers Tim @ Photovision Studios Digital Wildlife Photography Galleries.

    Lenses

I don't think that camera resolution is that important. I'm still using my 4 megapixel Canon EOS 1D. If you set them up right most people won't be able to tell the difference and they're totally publishable images. Lenses will make a bigger difference - especially for wildlife photography. I'd recommend sticking with the 10D and buying some long, fast, pro lenses. The only reason to switch to the Konica Minolta would be for the built-in Anti Shake feature. But if you already have Canon equipment, I don't think that makes much sense. Just invest in Canon's IS lenses. There are lots of them and since the motors are built specifically for the lens, they should work better than the Konica Minolta's Anti Shake system.
