Thanks for all the advice. You hit a couple of concerns right on the head. I can see these cameras taking a bit of abuse out on the road. The sales guys will also want a pretty slick looking camera to show off.

I think a majority of pictures will be taken either outside or inside a garden center. Hopefully there will be enough light to accomidate the shots. I'm going to look at the Sony line of cameras to see if anything looks right. I spoke to our magazine designer and he said anything 5mp + should be workable as a cover for the magazine. That, atleast, opens up quite a few options.

I would love to order up a bunch of 10Ds (or even 20Ds) for these guys, but some how I don't think the $10,000 - $20,000 price tag will go over so well. ;)
