I came back from a trip and had to go thru airport checks several times. I had a Canon AE-1 with 100 -400 ASA film, and a Sony digital camera on my carry-on. I kept the unexposed and exposed film canisters in a ziplock bag for easy access and had to take the canon out of the leather case for their review.
Most of the time I bypassed the x-ray machine and let them examine my camera and film. Sometimes they went thru the x-ray devices. I did not see any problems with my developed pictures when I got home.
Now I have a Digital Rebel and will carry it next time. You guys have any experiences? or helpful ideas? Will xrays hurt the CF memory or hurt the camera?
