Acquiring Images

I bought a Sony DSC-P10 last year and I've lost the software. I've got Photowise on my PC (re an Agfa camera which is now broken). Photowise won't work with the Sony. Could someone tell me how to acquire the necessary software to enable me to download pictures from my camera and to manipulate them on my PC. I'm using Windows XP Home.

Buy a memory stick reader for your computer and take the memory stick out of the camera. Copy the files off the ms and then use your editing software to manipulate the files.

Thanks for the advice, Chunk. I use an hp psc 2210 all-in-one printer/fax/scanner/copier with card reader, so I tried what you suggested and it worked well. I posted the thread in order to acquire software to enable me to get images off my camera without the need to remove the memory stick, but your option works just fine. I've still got the ability to manipulate the images using hps own software or that supplied by Irfanview or Photowise. Again, many thanks for the interest in the thread.
