    want to sell/trade....cameta?

does cameta offer a fair price on used equipment? i have some stuff i need to get rid of before i even consider upgrading to faster glass.

I have tried to sell locally on craigslist with no luck.
i am sure i can sell on ebay easily but being as i am not a seller paypal holds $$, headaches with that, and money will go right back out to cameta anyways lol.

sooo has anybody sold to cameta? are they fair?

    Re: want to sell/trade....cameta?

The only experience that I have had selling equipment has been on E-Bay and a friend of mine did it for me. I ended up selling everything and we had no problems at all except having to re list a few pieces to get them to sell, Jeff

    Re: want to sell/trade....cameta?

I've never sold to Cameta, but I have sold to KEH. KEH is fair, but you have to consider the situation you're in. If you're selling to someone who is planning to resell your gear, you will not make as much money as you will selling to someone who is planning to use the gear. It's just like a used car; trade in vs. selling on your own. Ebay is more hassle, and possibly more risk, but there's also a potentially larger pay off. KEH and probably any other respectable reseller is a sure thing, but with a smaller pay out. It's kind of a personal decision. What are you more comfortable with?
