I would like to see more members take the time to write about some good locations to do business with. There are soooo many sites out there that want to do bad things like taking advantage of people it is almost like listening to the nightly news. Lets tell everyone about the good dealers that are available.

So far, so good, with Canoga Camera. However, I am going to return the UV filter they recommended. I don't foresee any problems. The lens was also less money than B & H and Adorama.

Love B&H for gear, as well as Adorama if I can't find it at B&H.

I order almost all of my prints from MPIX. I have ordered prints from Adorama with good results also, but I prefer MPIX.

There is store called The Camera Company that is about an hour from me. I have purchased a few things from them over the years, but I use them more as a research tool. I can go there to get my hands on lenses, tripods, bags and other gear that you can't find at a store like Best Buy. I love the store, and the staff is always willing to help. I have found their prices to be higher than most online retailers so I don't buy high end items from them. I saved $50 on the last camera bag I bought online compared to what the local store had. Of course it was nice to see and feel the bag before buying it, but $50 more is a little too high. I have never used any of their online services.

Have had nothing but great transactions with B&H. Adorama was top notch. ephotocraft was great, but didn't send out ship notices. Those three are where I look first when I'm in the market to buy something new. Also buy.com is AWESOME!

B & H. Prices are usually around or lower than other competitors and they usually throw in bonus items when you buy a package of some kind. I got my D80 kit for cheaper than all the stores around me and that included two 2 GB high speed SD cards and 2 extra years of a warranty through Nikon.
