Seeing tops of trees or something up there could help though. I think another crop up from the bottom to just below the "grey" area in the river would also help. For me, all the snow leading up to that area is a touch too much deadspace. The image caught my eye though. You do nice work Knight, thanks for sharing. Ken Knight 03-16-2005, 06:21 PM Ok i did another crop and it does look better . Thanks ken :) Ps, forgot to mention that this bridge is still in service its in the Pontiac county of the Province of Quebec & it was built in 1932. For me tho, the composition is lacking. I like that you captured the entire bridge in the photo tho, but perhaps a dif. point of view would help out. I am very jealous tho. Wish I had something like that to shoot around here. The only covered bridge I have found was build in 1992 as an engineering project. Not at all what I was expecting. :( Knight 03-17-2005, 03:40 PM I have other photos of this bridge but they have steel post`s and beams across the entrances to keep big trucks off . I will C if i can remove them in PS . Next week my work travels will take me to a sector were there are 2 more covered bridges so i should have a few more photos. Come to think of it i have another to put up tonight :) Knight 03-17-2005, 03:55 PM This one was built in the 1800s when ? no one seems to remember. Its not in use anymore theres a new highway built not to far from it . A local farmer is using it as a shed now. Not much i could do about different views theres bush at one end & to the sides. |
