I took a photo of a painting for work the other day, the problem is that due to where the painting is hanging and where i have to shoot from i cannot get parrallel to the image. does anyone know of a way in photoshop cs that i can straighten it ? I can fix the rotation fine, however the image has a slight converging of verticals that i cannot seem to fix

Skyman-
Use the "Transform" tools under Edit. Between the Skew and Perspective you should be able to tighten it up.

Scott Kelby's Book Photoshop CS For Digital Photographers has a technique for fixing this. His example is a picture of a building that looks like it's falling over backwards because of the converging lines that you get when aiming the camera up - but the principal is the same. It's pretty easy but there are a few steps involved. It's a good book to have for reference anyway.
Been awhile since I've done it but I think it's Transform > Perspective for starters.
