We had one of these wood storks in our backyard pond this morning, alternating between hunting and running off a great egret. I was happy to run into another one today and to take his picture. Please share your comments and suggestions.

As always, your wildlife photography is stunning. A bit more of his leg might improve the composition, but my real suggestion is for you to turn your talent to other subject matter. Just for a change, it'd be great to see the results :)

Please don't take my suggestion negatively, it is always a pleasure to review your latest photos!

Edit: I feel like I should clarify. I mean I know you've posted other stuff, like the planes and stuff, but I don't think I've ever seen a landscape / macro / abstract. You seem to get some of the most stunning shots on here, I was just wondering if you could pull it off on other subject matter, not out of competition but just out of curiosity :)

Thanks for the comments and your nice way of phrasing them. I mostly post wildlife -- mostly birds -- these days, but have posted other types of photography over the three or four years, I've been posting here. I'll post a couple here, starting with this macro. Please feel free to offer any comments you like on that image, too.

Here's a landscape -- sort of.

Here's an abstract. Your point is well taken, though, I probably have 100 wildlife photos for every landscape or abstract.

By the way, I shoot friends and family, too, although I rarely post them here and rarely shoot anyone who is not friend or family.

Wow, all beautiful pics. Love the macro, and the shot that started this thread is lovely.

I'm impressed!
