I was at Jack London Square this weekend and I got this picture of the flag. I thought it turned out pretty good for my first flag picture.

I like the colors of the flag against the blue sky, but I think there is too much sky here and too little flag. I think it would have worked better if you caught the flag blowing out in the wind filling more of the frame. just my thoughts . . .

I agree the colors of the flag and the sky are very nice however there is just too much sky for me in this photo. The angle of the pole is a little distraction to me the way it seems to just randomly enter the side of the frame. Great subject and a nice effort. Here is a flag image I captured Sunday on my field trip.
