Comments welcome. jar_e 01-29-2005, 10:02 PM Aaron, Great composition and colors coming through on this pic. From the grey of the building to the green of the foliage to the colors of the fruits. The only thing I notice on this pic is it seems, atleast on my system, a tad blurry. Hopefully my eyes haven't lost it, Jared Aaron 01-29-2005, 10:06 PM Yes it looks a bit blurry to me as well, unfortunately this seems to be a result of compressing for posting for some reason, the original is qute a bit sharper. jar_e 01-29-2005, 10:14 PM Yes it looks a bit blurry to me as well, unfortunately this seems to be a result of compressing for posting for some reason, the original is qute a bit sharper. No worries, I bet the full size version is very nice. Jared JK_Photo 01-29-2005, 10:17 PM Looks like a goldmine for closeups. Nice comp. Aaron 01-29-2005, 10:31 PM It is a great place, you can spend a week there easily and not wear out all the subjects. I re-did the upload, perhaps it is a bit better :) jar_e 01-29-2005, 10:33 PM It is a great place, you can spend a week there easily and not wear out all the subjects. Ignore my first post:p , Jared Aaron 01-29-2005, 10:39 PM I reworked the "resize" in PS instead of another program, it made considerable difference. JK_Photo 01-29-2005, 10:49 PM I reworked the "resize" in PS instead of another program, it made considerable difference. Thought it needed a boost. Hope you don't mind. Aaron 01-29-2005, 10:52 PM I don't mind at all, I had not done much to it other than cropping and resizing, your "boost" looks great -- thanks! readingr 01-30-2005, 03:02 AM What a lovely place to photograph. I like this a lot and my only minor critique would be that the bottom pumpkin seems to have been cropped and it would have been nice to draw back a little same for the light fitting at the front of the picture Overbeyond 01-30-2005, 03:23 AM A lovely scene and a very nice photo. Huge potential all round here. That window is very inviting indeed. But everywhere you look there are subjects within subjects. Aaron 01-30-2005, 03:17 PM Thanks all for the constructive comments and compliments, I really appreciate them all --- Roger I see what you mean on your commen, however that is the bottom of the frame - good point in relation to the lighting. Eagle_Eye 01-30-2005, 06:48 PM Nice shot Aaron. The comp is very good. Gives me the feel of Pilgrams and carving a turkey. Looks like a great place to visit. Dudley gahspidy 01-30-2005, 08:47 PM Nice subtle colors and textures. Lighting nice and soft and good frame up. there is alot going on here but it all works to create and good feel. |
