Only critique I can come up with this one would be that the cloud that the sun is behind seems almost greenish on my monitor. It, in a sense, almost seems underexposed. But if you already tried photoshop it's still a great shot! Jared Trevor Ash 01-28-2005, 08:48 PM Well, I think I'd have pulled the dark part of the filter further down so that it went almost all the way to the land area.....but not quite. The sun rays are very powerful indeed. Is this the effect you were after or did you want an even more moody (dark/contrasty) scene? Personally, I'd probably liked this photo a bit more if the filter were a little lower. You might try burning in the edges a little too as it would help add more drama and attention to the light rays. DownByFive 01-28-2005, 09:02 PM I wasn't really going for the more contrasty shot here, but I've got a few that are a little more like that... jar_e 01-28-2005, 09:05 PM I wasn't really going for the more contrasty shot here, but I've got a few that are a little more like that... I love this shot too! Wow, where were these shots taken!? This shot is very appealing, especially with those clouds a third of the way up, that orange color. Wow. I'm in awe :p , Jared DownByFive 01-28-2005, 09:57 PM This one might be closer to what Trevor was thinking... |
