These apparently were commisioned by the local council who thought they were getting a real artist only for a group of teenagers to turn up. Bit of an irish fable i think.Question is and i have been inspired to think about this from another s post, is this art or graffitti ? comments please.

graffiti is art.
I don't see any offensive words or scenes, so I don't see what the problem is. It seems that getting teenagers to do an art form which they love and getting paid would be a positive. Does their age detract from what they created?
This is by no means good graffiti, but I've also seen a lot of bad 'art'.

Real simple.
If someone does their "artwork" on your property without your permission, it's graffiti... or vandalism.
If you wanted it on there... it's art.
