Thanks, Rick Hello Rick, The quality of the ambient lighting is remarkable in these two shots yet they are both too dark to work as they could. On the first one, I like the composition but it seems that you oversharpened it a bit. I'd say that the second picture display the opposite issue, your main subject could use more sharpness (perhaps the dof is too shallow). I see potential in these two shots but they don't cut it as they currently are (as far as I am concerned). regards Seb ArmySSG 01-01-2005, 02:42 PM The image of the purple flower, I like the composition with it, and how it stands out. I think a touch more brightness/contrast would have helped it just a touch. For the other image, it seems to be too busy. Getting that little critter in focus wasn't easy, and you have to work with how they want to pose. Nice job on that part of it, but the background behind it doesn't work for it. To me, if confuses the eye. |
