I love the picture in general, but the colors are a bit too hot, I think. It's a tad overexposed. Good first attempt!

I really like it. The two lighter colored flowers really make this photo. It is a little bright, but I like it. I like close-ups myself, so...

Good job.

I agree with what was already said. This is a tad overexposed and not exactly as sharp as it could (although a slight unsharp mask would take care of this easily). I wouldn't mind the slight overexposition if there wasn't a loss of details in the highlights because I find the brightness to serve the flowers well.

Nevertheless, I think that you have made an interesting use of the new lense. The longer focal lenght allow to blur the background very well.
