I have a minolta Dimage Xt, and I think it should work as a webcam too, but there isn't anything helpful on the booklet. How do I know if it can be used as a webcam and how do I put it to work as one? Thanks in advance.

Given that you can buy a decent Webcam for $20 these days - that would be what I would do (and in fact did).

That will yield better results, and be cheaper in the end, than trying to adapt the Xt for unintended uses.

Thanks Clemmie, I probably will buy one of those cameras, it's just that when I bought the Xt ( a long time ago ) I tought it would be cool to use the webcam function, obviously it wasn't anywhere near a priority, but it would be nice tough.

You should be able to use the Xt as a webcam - you need to install the Remote Camera driver. Check pg98 of the manual.
