they have it for $693 with the 18-55 lens has anybody delt with them my local shop is $895 $200 is a big savings thanks for the help :)

I don't know about them but if you check www.bensbargains.net they list coupon codes to get it for just over $700 from dell.

Here's a good deal at B&H. Also Dell sounds good. I wouldn't deal with Abes of Maine personally.

Run! Run like the wind! Abe's of Maine is one of the classic ripoff artists around. Stick with the reliable online stores.

I recently went through the same process as you to try and find an inexpensive digital rebel. I found some "deals" which I thought were too good to be true. they were. Also, just to be safe I would check the company's record with the Better Business Buero (sp?) and every company that would offer a great deal also had a terrible record. Eventually I just settled with BnH because I figured that it just was not worth the hassle. And they still have really good prices.
