White balanced against a few different objects - which one works? (Hope I managed to attach the pics!!)

out of the two, I would choose the first one of the lake. composition is better. The magenta colorcast here gives it a surreal maybe otherworldly look. I find it to be interesting but not sure if I like it. but they are nice images

Hey! Looks familiar! ... well besides the colors!

Sorry, the magenta hue is a style for which I do not care much. I would have a hard time to select any shot, even though the last one seems slightly overexposed.

However, if I can offer a suggestion, this would be to straighten the horizon line. I've always found a slightly skewed horizon to be a major distraction. But maybe that's just me!

Here is a shot with auto white balance (normal) - my opinion - dull and lifeless - the hue works well for me and sets off the autumn colors of the leaves very well.
