Hello,

I just received my Powershot A75 via mail. Although the camera seems to be working ok, I can hear a part loose inside when I shake it. Now I checked and its not any part outside like the shutters. When I open the battery or memory card compartment, I can definately hear a part inside the camera that is loose.

This is brand new and as I am paranoid, I want to check if this is normal?

Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

This sounds like the orientation sensor. As the manual states, the noise is normal.

Any help is appreciated, Thanks!I just got a Panasonic FZ20 yesterday and noticed that you can feel a bit of internal movement when the camera is off. Near the end of the owner's manual is a statement that it is because of the lens/IS and is normal when the camera is off. It's not like there is a part rattling around inside, though.
