Anyway, i'm going to Europe via cruise ship and will need a camera for ordinary purposes, but also for those beautiful, far-off vistas from the ship.
So, w/ that said would u opt for either a 4mgp w/ 4X optical zoom cam or 5mgp w/ 3X optical zoom?

WELL...... what is the TRUE focal lengths of the cameras :)

lets just say that WIDE angle is just as important as TELEPHOTO from your info in this post.

28-112 as a 4x optical would be great for your general needs, but 38-152 may require you asking the captain to steer wider to include some views :)

4MP and 5 MP are just numbers in my opinion anyway, both will produce 8x10's with ease
