I want to make movies while on my bike, so need something fairly small and light, plan to strap the camera onto my helmet.

Can anyone recommend any cameras worth considering ?
My budget is around US $1000.

the most common way for this type of thing is a pencil camera on your helmet attached to a camera in a backpack on your back, talk to your local pro video store, queensland has plenty of production houses so they should have stores that cater to them.
