I normally do not do anything like this, but I was curious. I had to struggle to get some of the shots fast, as the clouds were interferring. During most of the total eclipse, the moon was completely blocked from my view here in Texas. A couple of the shots were only for 1-2 seconds as the moon peeked though the clouds.
I still had fun though
Canon 10D
Canon 70-200
Some shots were handheld at ISO 400 or 800, F8.0
Bogen tripod, release, MLU, on total eclipse ranging from 1-2.5 seconds, F4.0

Very nice presentation.
As a techie, I'd like to see the high resolution originals though :)
From what I can see, they're going to be good.
Yes, I agree, I really like the arc you made of the moons. Great job!
Now I think this is waaaaaay cool! Really! I give you credit for even attempting it handheld
I agree that the presentation is also excellent.
Good job Kathy.

Very nice shots! Great presentation too. And I'm very jealous - the clouds moved in literally minutes before totality, so I missed most of the eclipse!
Congratulations on a job well done!!!
I'm tickled that some many folks here on PR got out and shot this, despite the weather. :-)

Kathy -
VERY cool! You should make a poster out of it and sell it.
Seriously!
