Dear all,

Had quite a bit of luck with my first roll :D . I was shooting a sunflower and thought nothing more of it until I got the roll back. Then my mom pointed out that the sunflower in the background is leaning over the blooming sunflower in the foreground. It reminded her of the classic "Madonna and Child" pose. Wish I had more depth of field though :( . Post any similar pictures if you care to.

Your image is huge it's a little hard to look at!

Try shrinking it down to 600 pixels wide and it'll fit on most people's screens.

DzerzhinskiI did enjoy! :p It's just like you said, the one on top is comforting the smaller one. Who would have thought of that? heh I also looked at the larger size and noticed that there are a few spots that are probably dust. It's very easy to remove if you have Photoshop. Make sure you open it to 100% then go to filter/dust and scratches, or just use the clone stamp tool. You prob already know this but just in case you don't, I just don't want you to print it then see them. I would never put any pics on that size because you really can't trust people on the internet. No one here, but non members also come to look. It's a really nice shot and I wouldn't want anyone one else to get it. :) I'm looking forward to more shots of yours.

Dear Kit,

How I would love it if I had Photoshop ;) ! It happens that I don't unfortunately :p . Actually, I could have avoided the spots if I had wiped the scanner's window before I went and scanned it. Thanks for the advice. I might ask for Photoshop for Christmas! I'll be more careful next time with my scanning.

Thanks for the comments,
