The recent heavy, heavy rains in eastern PA and NJ has left a number of towns devastated. The news the other day showed a Maxima(I think) floating down the street in a Philly suburb. Note the muddy waters in the river in #3. Living in a high-rise, I didn't worry about the flooding, except that if the waters got into the elevator machinery, I'd be walking up and down 14 flights of stairs daily.
These photos are from the past few days, taken through glass from my apartment windows. D100 used, with a Tamron 28-75/2.8 lens(nice lens). :-)

Ugly weather!!! Great shots though - you really captured that eerie feeling with those clouds.
We have a nasty cold front coming thru now - brought bad storms here this afternoon!

Wow - look at that sky! River looks very high and fast, a lot like the one here in town that finally opened just after July 4th due to flooding.
ooh, almost looks like a wall cloud developing. Did you have tornado warnings with this storm?

Not in Philly, but there were some tornado watches in the surrounding areas, unusual for this part of the country.
Thanks to your picture, Charles, I dreamed about wall clouds last night! :D
I've had lots of tornado dreams, but I've never had a "wall cloud" dream!!!

Ah, I sleep like a baby during bad storms. Problem is, I can't sleep any other times. :-)
