Okay, so I'm really wanting to get into photography.
It's really cool
But my main subject will be at shows or concerts.
So I need something that will do very good in those areas.
Of course though I'm going to take pictures of other things too.
And my budget is 300.

Concert photography is very difficult. With a budget of $300 you'll have a tough time - don't expect the best work from your equipment. Seriously, film might be a better way to go - high speed black and white film and a 35mm SLR like a Nikon F100 (new $1000, these days used for under $300, add a 50mm f1.8 lens and you'd be just over your budget).
But getting any camera will teach you a lot about photography. You really can't learn until you start doing it. Unfortunately you picked just about the most demanding subject matter you could find (low light levels, subject movement, extremely high contrast levels, changing light conditions). But concerts are only one part of photography. I don't mean to be discouraging...

Ah nevermind.
I'll just get what I was planning on.
