I has my son stand at the edge to get this, what do you guy's think?

It looks nice, but I think for me to get the whole effect, I wish I could *see* him standing on the edge... Nice colors, and your son is perfectly exposed. If it was me, I might try darkening the background (specifically the white mountain) just a hair so it doesn't take over the pic. Overall, I like it though, and I'm no expert I'm just commenting from the heart. :)

I think it's a solid shot. Glasses and hat is sort of a tough one to pull off (as I know from my own son.) The hat tends to shade the eyes and you need fill flash, but if you use it, it bounces off the glasses, which has happened here and obscure his eyes a bit. You could tilt down the glasses, maybe remove them, or use a diffusser.
