Another shot from last night's walkabout. Do the reflections of the lights in the window ruin this shot?

MB1 04-28-2008, 04:49 AM The reflections are fine, they even add a sense of place to the image. OTOH The face is centered in the frame which robs the image of energy. Try cropping a bunch from either side and see if the head "pops" better. I'd crop from the left...... Ptax 04-28-2008, 10:03 AM Thanks. I'll give that a try. retroactiv 04-28-2008, 10:50 AM I agree with MB1 you need to crop it a bit. The reflections are great for this shot. It looks like she is staring me down, good shot. Frog 04-28-2008, 12:34 PM If anything, I'd crop some on the right side. jamiebug 04-29-2008, 11:23 AM Nice shot! I too would crop from the right. GB1 04-29-2008, 07:31 PM To me it's a really neat shot. I don't mind the reflections and think they add a 'Big City' feeling, but the location of them so close or in the way of her left eye is distracting to me. Perhaps if there were more of them on the right side of the image, it would balance out. Worth a reshoot if you can swing it!!! G gahspidy 04-30-2008, 05:58 AM I like the lighting on the mannequin. the reflections add, but could do without the one on the nose/eye. A crop will work, I feel as MB1 said from the left, but either way should do it. Ptax 04-30-2008, 08:38 PM I'll get back to that area and try a reshoot to place the reflections in different areas. Your positive comments are a great motivator for me give it another try. Gracias!! Frog 05-01-2008, 06:15 AM As long as you're there, try some vertical shots, too. krashysmashy 05-01-2008, 08:20 AM I like the reflections in the shot! It give it more of a story.. I like it!
