First time ever seeing rugby. Now this is a sport. Non-stop intense action!
I'm such a football sheep I'd quit shooting because I'm so programed into "play over". It took the whole first half for me to finally quit doing that.
I have a lot more photos and I'm in the middle of editing, but this one really stuck out to me so I wanted to share it with you guys and gals.

Great first one can't wait to see more. Never seen a rugby match don't know if I would have a clue as to how to position myself and shot something like this.

Nice shooting! excellent capture of what the game is like.
Americans have started to play Rugby? Great.
Takes me back to my schools days, spent hours training and playing in all weathers. Just one question, did the orange player get blown up for a high tackle, it's a close call. Our teacher/coach used to drum it into us to tackle from the waist down.
Love the shot.

Thanks so much Roger.
I was very surprised to find out this rugby club was started in the late 70's. It really seems to be picking up in my area. There were a couple hundred people there and the parking lot was packed.
I wish I could tell you if a call was made on that tackle. Being this was my first experience at rugby I was pretty oblivious to what was going on.

No problem with that tackle.
Shoulders down is OK in the professional game.
Oh you know what? This play (or whatever you call it) continued on for quit some time. The only reason I know is because of my pics. So nothing was called.
