This is a shot I took several years ago now while doing some timed exposures just after the sun had gone down. I used a flash off camera to fire all over the jetty to try and pick some more detail out from the rafters. Here is the result:

Nice shot. It appears somewhat like an HDR. Your technique worked out well. The sharpness is incredible. The only thing I could say that needs to be better is, well... it just appears to be missing something. Not sure what...Perhaps the moon in the upper right sky?
