Frog 03-29-2008, 07:20 AM I'm not a fan of selective color but it seems to work here. The water drop doesn't stand out at this angle. I wonder what it would look like if it was rotated 90 degrees ChowChi-Ching 03-29-2008, 08:36 AM Just out of curiousity, what camera do you have? My Canon A630 has the selective coloring option on it.... My Nikon D70s doesn't though.... I use my Canon more for my "every day" shots because it is alot easier to quick pull out and snap those quick shots. CanonFan 03-29-2008, 10:36 AM I am shooting with a Canon PowerShot S3 IS. My "other" camera is a 27 year-old Canon A1 - I sure wish I could have that "converted" to a digital.... spiraleyes 03-29-2008, 03:32 PM Interesting effect. Truthfully, I had to really look for the drop. It just doesn't stand out. I like this shot. Len J 03-29-2008, 06:28 PM The drop of water is lost in the photo............don't know if a different angle would have helped. len MB1 03-31-2008, 05:31 AM I think the drop of water doesn't stand out because the focus is a little soft. I also think the color of the flower is a bit too grey/green. The selective color doesn't do anything for me at all-if the background is green that would be better than grey. |
