CanonFan 03-29-2008, 05:45 AM It's nice but there is way too much dark for my taste. I would crop this just a little below the bottom of the reflection and I would like to see just a little more definition in the upper part of the tree - maybe a slightly longer exposure? Try shooting this horizontal and include all of the circular pool, it got cut off. Frog 03-29-2008, 07:16 AM On my monitor its just way too dark except the water and even it could use some more exposure. I think you need some way to get more light into the surroundings or go close on the water. MB1 03-31-2008, 05:24 AM Too dark and you are way too far away from the waterfall which I take as the main subject of the image. Plus a longer exposure to open up the shadow details where possible, plus I would do a tungsten or custom white balance for this. On another hand though you could have a lot of fun, painting with a flash burst with different colors of cellophane taped over the head. Shining it onto the water and the surrounding area while your leave the shutter open for a few minutes or do several and layer them up in photoshop. |
