Welcome to Viewfinder - and to the Forum. You have some awesome shots in your gallery. I'm glad you uploaded a couple of them here. I think the beach photo is one of the first shots with your new camera, right? And if I remember correctly from the Canon forum when you were looking at the XTi - that it's your first dslr. You've done really well. I didn't do so well with my first dslr - it took a while! :idea:

Liz: thank you! Yes this is my first DSLR. I've only been seriously shooting for about a year now. Been "using" cameras for 5 or 6 years but nothing serious. I love it so much now that I lug around my gear everywhere, rain sleet or snow. We'll see how long my back holds up ;-(
