Canon & Sigma Lensens: Looking for special stores in Buffalo NY or Charlotte NC [Archive]

Hello!

I will be on a business trip coming from Germany and will have
limited time to stay in Buffalo and than in Charlotte only some hours free time,
therefore I need the help of the community to find fast the right store.

I am interested to buy the following items

Canon body Digital Rebel Xti
Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC Makro
Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS

Could you please help me with stores in Buffalo and/or Charlotte
where I could buy above items. I am not sure if chains like "target", best buy etc
could sell especially the lenses in which I am looking in.

If you know the addresses at which you will be staying in either Buffalo or Charlotte you could order the equipment from either Adorama or B&H photo and have them ship to your destination. You can price the equipment on line to compare and then order via either phone or email and explain what you plan on doing. I don't trust Ritz as the people there are ignorant and will try to get you to buy other things. also their prices aren't that good.

I presume you will be staying at a hotel in both cities so you can call the manager of one and explain what you are doing and that you want them to accept the shipment for you. Ask the store to send it signature required or receipt required.

Both stores are extremely reliable and they will back up what they sell. Also they don't try to upsell. If you use Adorama you can ask for Izzy Friedman and if B&H ask for Henry Posner. You can depend on either to help get you the equipment you want and when you need it.
