Pretty sure they're Harris' Antelope Squirrel, Ammospermophilus harrisii

LOL, that second one is funny - sad - but still funny.

Those are some svelte squirrels. In our neighborhood, the squirrels have all been fattened up by my wife and daughter who keep feeding them my bag of mixed nuts (brazilian, walnut, almond) in addition to the occasional tortilla chips and corn.

I suppose we should eat them soon.
