It seems to lack a point of interest. Overall the image has a kind of painterly quality though, so maybe that is what you are trying to convey? Take care, Joe Don Schaeffer 02-08-2008, 03:35 AM Thanks Joe. I tried to make a mundane traffic scene into a vase of lowers. MB1 02-08-2008, 05:48 AM Thanks Joe. I tried to make a mundane traffic scene into a vase of lowers. I can see what you were trying for and I like the colors but the image as a whole is lacking a center of interest. I think this is well worth doing but you need to start with an interesting image-perhaps with some colorfully dress people in it........ Don Schaeffer 02-08-2008, 09:23 PM Wait! I'm gonna do something interesting with this. gahspidy 02-10-2008, 08:54 AM The one thing for me that hurts this comp is the immediate pole or tree in the fg and the car jammed up near it. Without those two elements, this scene would open up nicely and perhaps bloom like that vase of flowers. Don Schaeffer 02-10-2008, 10:55 AM Yeah. I see what you mean. If I crop it out, the whole foreground is lost--it's a quandry. |
